Just to the North of Bradford, you'll find Shipley Glen Tramway - a preserved historic tramway, dating from 1895, now maintained and run entirely by volunteer enthusiasts.You can ride the 400-metre tramway through the beautiful wooded Shipley Glen, between the two stations.
The line was originally built as a funicular tramway to take visitors between various attractions in Shipley Glen which have long since closed, leaving just the trams.
