Here's our compilation of the best things for adults to do in Aberdeen.
We've got all sorts of venues and activities such as a gin school, a comedy club and even a place to work off your frustrations by breaking things, so you'll never be bored in the Granite City!
City of Aberdeen Distillery and Gin School
Gin Enthusiasts will love this place - you can find out how gin is made, how to taste it and you can even learn how to distil it yourself! There are three options to choose from - the Discovery Tour, the Gin Tasting Masterclass and the Gin School Experience.
The Discovery Tour lasts an hour and is a walking tour of the distillery with a double G&T as a welcome on arrival, and samples of Aberdeen Gin as you go round. With a goodie bag and a 5cl gin miniature to take home I would say that this tour is a bargain at £25 per person.
If you want to experience the different gin flavours of Aberdeen Gin, you should take a Gin Tasting Masterclass, where an expert distiller will lead you through the range. This tasting masterclass is £49 per person and includes a double G&T on arrival, samples throughout the masterclass and a final G&T of your choice.
If you want to learn how to make gin, you can join the 3-hour Gin School Experience, where firstly you will learn all about the origins of Gin, and tour the distillery to discover how Aberdeen Gin is made.
After that, you will distil your own bottle of gin in a copper alembic mini-still, and get a chance to sample some of the Aberdeen Gin range. Once your own gin is distilled and bottled, you'll enjoy a surprise cocktail to round off the day.
