Ride on "Yorkshire's Great Little Steam Train" through the lovely South Pennines on this old country branch line. A quarter mile long tunnel adds to the thrill of this nostalgic 50-minute return journey.

The 15 inch gauge line was laid along the old Lancashire & Yorkshire Clayton West Branch Line which used to connect Clayton West and Skelmanthorpe with the main Sheffield to Huddersfield line. Visitors now have the opportunity to enjoy an 8 mile steam train ride through beautiful countryside.

Clayton West, the terminus of the railway, is situated midway between Wakefield, Barnsley, Holmfirth and Huddersfield, on the A636 Wakefield to Denby Dale road.
