West Keal is a village of transition. A place where the undulations of the Lincolnshire wolds meet the long flat lands of the fens. It's a hamlet of countryside where tractors plough through the steep gradients of Keal hill and where sheep and cows graze in fields. Winding through its main roads are many types of traditional English housing. Small bungalows are the majority with many older type traditional farm houses en-route.

The major attraction of West Keal is its hill top church - a beautiful old building with numerous footpaths leading to its gates. From here the view can be inspiring. On a clear day one can see fifteen miles South towards historical Boston. The cathedral which spikes several hundreds of meters into the air in Boston can be seen from the church grounds.

West Keal facilities include a Cafe, which serves traditional teas and various snacks.
