By Public Transport: Discovery Museum is only a five minute walk from Newcastle Central Station Metro, the mainline rail station and local bus services. The museum is well signposted from the station.
For more information on public transport telephone the NEXUS traveline on 0870 608 2 608 or visit: http://www.tyneandwearmetro.co.uk/index.htm By Car: Discovery is based on Blandford Square in Newcastle upon Tyne. The museum can be found just off the A6082 from Redheugh Bridge heading onto St James' Boulevard or from the A186 from Westmorland Road heading onto St James' Boulevard. Parking is available outside the museum, but it is extremely limited and gets very busy. We would recommend travelling by public transport or parking at the Times Square car park behind Life Science Centre, which is a five minute walk from the museum. |
