Tyne and Wear is definitely the place for great shopping and family fun days out! Gateshead has enough museums, shops and cafes to keep you busy for a week, whilst a trip along the coast will bring you to award winning beaches and well-known landmarks such as St Mary's Lighthouse, as seen from the Park.
Whitley Bay Blue Flag Beach is just 12 miles from the Park.
The Park is set in an enviable position along the coast with a beautiful sandy beach. Take the kids for a family swim in the indoor pool or to the Lighthouse Entertainment Centre for Sparky's Krew, amusements and a game of pool.
In the evening, enjoy a tasty meal in the Boathouse Bar & Restaurant, then wander upstairs to the Showbar for some glittering shows and entertainment you won't want the night to end!
