Scotstoun not Scotstown as listed, is a tiny hamlet situated above the village of Strontian overlooking Loch Sunart on the edge of the Ardnamurchan Peninsula.

This picture shows the dramatic skies as the weather changes. The Ardgour mountains can just be seen as the storm clouds close in. This is a hill walkers, and bird watchers paradise and if you do neither you will still be impressed by the spectacular scenery.

Scotstoun is small but not deprived of amenities. Being just a couple of miles from Strontian affords visitors the opportunity to take advantage of the facilities and services provided in the village.

The Sunart Centre has a range of activities and entertainments and there is a local store, cafe bistro, post office, petrol station and pottery shop.
