Kyle of Lochalsh is a village located on the Mainland of the Scottish Highlands. Kyle used to be the main port of entry to the Isle of Skye before the Bridge was built 1995.

Kyle is an ideal base for touring Isle of Skye and places such as Elean Donan Castle, some 6 miles from Kyle. Other places of interest include Glenelg, Plockton, Glen Shiel.

An ideal vacation for Walkers, families etc. An area of outstanding beauty and world famous for the Kyle railway which offers an incredible journey from Inverness to Kyle as spoke about by Michael Palin.
