The foundations of an inn and bath house can be seen at Wall Roman Site. The inn provided overnight accommodation for travelling Roman officials and imperial messengers.
Inside the museum are many finds ranging from a bronze statuette of a wrestler, to pottery, building debris, coins, jewellery and even toilet implements. All of these vividly recall Wall's history, originally as a military staging post on Watling Street and subsequently as a bustling town.
General Information:
Parking (100 yards away from museum)
Museum (only open when the site is manned by National Trust volunteers - last weekend of every month plus BH Sundays and Mondays, March to October.)
Toilet in museum (wheelchair user friendly, only open when site is manned)
Disabled access to museum only
