At Thwaite Mills you will find a fully-restored working watermill in an attractive riverside setting.
The centrepiece of the Mill is the spectacle of two huge water wheels that drive the Mill. The site explains the history of Thwaite Mills from the 17th century to the 1970s, includes the house where the manager lived and tells the story of the Horn family who owned the Mill for generations.
