Things to do in Mochrum, Dumfries and Galloway

The sleepy little village of Mochrum is situated in rolling countryside some 2 miles from Port William.

The attractive main street centres on one of the most picturesque churches in the area - a charming Georgian edifice on the site of a much earlier building.

On the northern edge of the village, heading towards Kirkcowan, lies Druchtag Mote - one of the best preserved remains of a Norman motte and bailey castle in the region.
