Warwickshire

Situated at the northernmost tip of Warwickshire, surrounded by rural Leicestershire, Staffordshire and South Derbyshire, Austrey is only two miles from the National Forest.

An attractive village clustered around a picturesque 14th century church, Austrey has pleasant countryside views and a vibrant village community life.

There are several working farms in and around the village, with both arable and pasture land,. Austrey is a predominantly rural community, which continues to be proud of its mining roots, its 150 year old school building now used as a Village Hall and many other local landmarks, from the thatched "Bird in Hand" pub to the "rocket" on the hill.
