Things to do in Sutton, Bedfordshire

An historic and picturesque village situated a few miles from Potton. A tributary of the River Ivel crosses the road where Sutton's medieval twin arched packhorse bridge spans the ford.

The village, edged by parkland and golf course, has a number of thatched cottages an is centred around the medieval All Saints Church. The Church has many interesting features including a barrel organ still in use, and a monument dedicated to Sir Roger Burgoyne, reputedly carved by Grinling Gibbons.
