East Sussex

The coastal port of Newhaven is situated at the mouth of the River Ouse. Newhaven still has a daily ferry service to Dieppe and the harbour is always busy and a fascinating place to visit.

The town's Newhaven Fort has many interesting features for visitors both young and old. Newhaven Museum is to be found on the outskirts of the town, and next to this is Paradise Park - a garden centre with its own miniature railway track running through models of various Sussex sites of interest.
