Situated in a quiet location, just over a mile from Eastbourne's sea front, it is convenient for the Eastbourne Ladies International Tennis Tournament, Theatres, the South Downs Way , Beachy Head and Glyndebourne.

The house sits within a ¾ acre walled garden and is just a short walk from Eastbourne's town centre.

The site was once a monastery and Commandery for the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem.

The current house was built about 300 years ago and is one of Eastbourne's oldest houses; a dwelling has existed on the site for at least a 1000 years.

The Peter Pan illustrator, Mabel Lucie Attwell , also lived here, hence the blue plaque on the road-side wall.

Guests are able to enjoy a delicious breakfast with home-made bread and marmalade, as well as the luxury of Egyptian cotton linen.
Private parking in gated courtyard.

Awarded 3rd place in "The Independent's 50 Best British Bed & Breakfasts 2007".
Ocklynge Manor sits within a 3/4 acre ancient walled garden and was once the home of Peter Pan artist Mabel Lucie Attwell.
