Visitors will find Croydon a great place to visit day or night. During the day visitors can visit the beautiful Queen's gardens, which is located in the grounds of the Old Croydon Central railway station.
From here it is a short walk to Croydon Town Hall with its magnificent clock tower and World War memorial.Also a visit to the nearby Parish church and Croydon Palace is an option.
After this why not take a break and have a bite to eat in one of Croydon's many Restaurants and pubs, which serve food all day.After this visitors may like to take a tram ride to Addington Palace to see this grand building, which once was residence for six archbishops of Canterbury.
A short bus ride from Croydon Town center is the Old Croydon Airport Building, which at one time was the gateway between London and the World.
Another place worth visiting is the ruins of the Crystal Palace, which sadly was destroyed by fire in 1936.
