Tullie House is one of Cumbria's leading visitor attractions. Our combination of permanent displays (many of them enjoyably interactive and 'hands on'), changing exhibitions and exciting events and workshops makes Tullie House a thriving centre of activity where there's always something to see or do for visitors of all ages. The main Art Gallery at Tullie House is the best equipped in the north of England and presents exhibitions of the highest quality.

This tranquil part of the museum is a 17th century house, with beautifully preserved original features. Inside the panelled room you'll find our unique collection of Pre-Raphaelite drawings and paintings. A wealth of other items from our Fine and Decorative Arts collections are displayed throughout, including porcelain from the famous Williamson collection. Old Tullie House also contains a Gallery of Childhood concentrating on the Victorian and Edwardian eras - always an eye-opener for younger visitors.Additional Information:
