Things to do in Nettleton, Lincolnshire

Awaiting photographs of Nettleton

Nettleton, a picturesque little village with ancient history, nestles at the base of the famous Lincolnshire Wolds where Vikings once proudly marched across the land. They created the Viking Way which stretches from Grimsby through Nettleton to Lincoln and covers some breathtaking scenery along its route.

Nettleton is steadily growing but retains its grace and natural feel combining the old and the new with tasteful architecture. Nettleton is surrounded by accessible beautiful natural woodlands, the impressive Wolds and the ancient town of Caistor all within walking distance of the village centre.

Nettleton boasts an old coaching inn which offers a perfect watering hole for all visitors, a village shop and a variety of local accommodation for those all important stopovers. Just a short car ride away is Lincoln, Grimsby, Scunthorpe and Brigg which offer a plethora of retail outlets though Caistor, just up the road from Nettleton, offers everything needed for a short visit.

Nettleton villagers are welcoming of all visitors who come to see for themselves the natural beauty and to share in the pleasure of a pretty and peaceful village.
