Historically, Meopham has featured in the record books as one of the longest villages in the country however it is also one of the most beautiful.
Steeped in history, ever-present in the form of the varied and exquisite architecture, this village is the perfect mixture of old and the new, the pastoral and the twenty-first century.
Every building features the stunning natural landscape as its background; around every corner, a new and magical snippet of scenery overwhelms you.
Whilst shopping is not top of the agenda, there is everything you could possibly need.
Meopham Valley Vineyard is both an interesting and informative afternoon out and, as a close community, the calendar is full of local markets and events to keep everyone in the family busy.
Meopham is well worth a visit: it is a fantastic gem in the Kent area and should be visited if only to breathe-in its sheer beauty.
