Llanthony valley is an unspoiled mystical valley between Abergavenny and Hereford. A place you always wish to return to time and time again. Where wild pony's run free with the sheep on the hills, where buzzards keep an eye on you from way up in the clouds. A place where you wish time could stand still and sometimes does.

A place for Walking, Pony trekking, visiting the Abbey or just enjoying the countryside. You choose? Llanthony is a small hamlet with two pubs a church, the Abbey, a farm and 9 houses but in the summer on a hot day there is no where better.

Set in a peaceful and secluded spot in the beautiful Black Mountains. An ideal base for walkers or pony trekkers. We are also well situated to explore the beautiful countryside or the Norman Borders castles, old churches and chapels of the Welsh Borders. The town of Abergavenny is only 10 miles and the small book shop town of Hay On Wye is 13 miles, Hereford 25 miles Cardiff 40 miles. Llanthony Abbey is a must place to visit.

Hay Buff is only 5 miles away and is one of the best viewpoints in Wales, where on a clear day nine counties of Wales and England can be seen. So don't forget to bring your camera.
