Bryn Bach Country Park is set in 340 acres of mixed grass and woodland, and has a 36-acre lake as its focal point. It offers something for all, whether you are strolling or cycling around the lake, picnicking or barbecuing with the family or participating in the many adventure activities available at the Park.

There is also a recent addition of a closed circuit cycling track with more cycling initiatives planned.

The Park is ideally situated on the doorstep of the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. The Visitors Centre and Bunkhouse accommodation offers an ideal base for cyclist and walkers to explore the rich heritage, beautiful countryside and wild life it offers.

The Visitors Centre is situated on the lakeside and has Bryn Bach to Rhos Marchant (c) Jon Moorby via Wikimedia Commonsa licensed restaurant, which offers an assortment of hot and cold meals, with a comprehensive children's menu. There is also a souvenir shop for all your gifts and mementoes, a Tourist information centre and toilet facilities with access for all. In addition to these facilities are picnic areas situated around the lakeside and barbecue stands available for hire.

The Visitors Centre has an 18 bed self-catering bunkhouse, and there is also a caravan and camp site.

The children's adventure playground has recently been upgraded and is a popular feature for families. The Playground consists of a variety of children's play equipment suitable for all ages. The Park offers a wide range of instructor lead activities, which have been accredited by the Adventure Activities Licensing Authority.

Courses can be arranged to suit the needs of any group or family. Adventure breaks are also available. The activities include: Hill Walking, Climbing/ Abseiling, Caving, Orienteering, Gorge walking, Mountain Biking, Kayaking, Archery and Team Building activities.

The 36 acre man made lake, which has become one of the premier fishing hotspots of South Wales and a favourite with local anglers, is stocked with a variety of course fish including prize common carp. Day and season fishing tickets are available at the Visitors Centre. Night fishing is also available on request.

The Park is host to a variety of events throughout the year, which include cycling races on the newly opened closed cycling circuit.The circuit also plays host to the Junior Tour Of Wales. There are also motorcycle hill climbs organised by the National Hill Climbing Association, Fun runs, Art exhibitions, Fishing competitions, charity events, and environmental days organised by the Local Authority.
