Alderley Edge is an old village situated in the heart of Cheshire, with its famous landmark `The Edge` towering over the Cheshire plain.

It has lovely shops to visit and various attractions like Alderley Edge Cricket Club, The Village Park, The Festival Hall and beautiful walks on The Edge, with breathtaking views.

Alderley Edge has a very interesting history, like the story of Merlin the wizard living in a hidden cave on the edge, read the book if you dare!

The Village Park is a great place it has places to play, a football pitch, a bowling green and even its own tennis courts! There is even a wacky warehouse for the children with big slides and play areas.

The local primary school is '57 years old; there are two other schools near by; the Alderley Edge School For Girls and Riley's (a boys school).
