Petworth House is one of the finest houses in the care of the National Trust and is home to an art collection that rivals many London galleries. Assembled by one family over 350 years, it includes works by Turner, Van Dyck, Titian, Claude, Gainsborough, Bosch, Reynolds and William Blake.

The state rooms contain sculpture, furniture and porcelain of the highest quality and are complemented by the opening of the old kitchens in the Servants' Quarters.

Petworth House is also the home of Lord and Lady Egremont and extra family rooms are open on weekdays by kind permission (not Bank Holidays).

Petworth Park is a 700 acre park landscaped by Capability Brown and is open to the public all year. £2.00 parking charge.

Spring and autumn are particularly breathtaking and the summer sunsets over the lake are spectacular.

Extensive event programme with appeal to all ages groups. Please telephone the property for an event leaflet.
