Doncaster Museum & Art Gallery is full of exciting collections depicting various aspects of natural history, archaeology, local history and fine and decorative art.

Visitors are invited to take a journey around the museum by the 'River and Road' route. The Museum and Art Gallery has undergone an extensive programme of refurbishment over the last 10 years.

The museum offers an enquiry service to the public.
A programme of temporary exhibitions and activities run throughout the year, including very popular adult art workshops and family holiday activities.

Our Museum Education service provides school workshops throughout the year and museum loans service. There is also a reminiscence collection available for loan to the elderly and community groups.

    Open all year round Monday to Saturday 10.00am - 5.00pm
    Closed: On Sunday, and 25th - 28th December, 1st and 3rd January and Good Friday.

    Easily reached from the town centre, 10 minutee walk from the interchange, straight up Hallgate, right past tha Civic Theatre and down halfway down Chequer Road. The museum is set back from the road on the left hand side.
