Step back in time to the early 20th century and find out how a grocer's family lived in this market town.

This ordinary semi-detached house, with original interior decorations from 1923, was the home of the Straw family. For 60 years the family threw little away and chose to live without many of the modern comforts we take for granted.

Be intrigued by stories of the family who made an extraordinary home in this ordinary house - hear about the times they lived in and see the everyday objects they treasured.

We are on the North side of Worksop, follow signs for Bassetlaw Hospital and Blyth Road - B6045. Blyth Grove is a small private road off the B6045, just South of Bassetlaw Hosital A & E entrance. Look for the small black and white sign at the bottom of the Grove.
