Things to do in Pontardulais, South Wales

Pontardulais is a welcoming, typical welsh village and although the shops are changing on a regular basis the feeling of a 'community' remains strong. Everyone is friendly and chat to you whether you are a local or a stranger.
The village itself consists of one main street but within that street you have the old church, a number of traditional pubs that have been there for years and not really changed that much, and a good selection of shops from modern supermarket down to traditional bakery, butcher etc.
It is not far from the beautiful beaches of the Gower coast and makes a lovely base for holidays putting both the two main towns of the area - Swansea and Llanelli - and the beaches within easy reach.
This is a beautiful little village tucked away just off the motorway where some modern ideas have evolved but the older generation have maintained the village traditions and attitudes.
You will love it!!
