Greenodd is a picturesque village located three miles north east of Ulverston and is right on the edge of the Lake District National Park, the border goes right through the village.
Greenodd is within easy driving distances to the Lakes of Windermere and Coniston Water.
The village has a claim to fame for having being mentioned in the Doomsday Book as a Viking Settlement.
Greenodd village retains local features like a traditional bakery and a butchers shop. The local church of St Mary's is well worth a visit.
There are many local woodland walks to choose from and fishing is available in the Crake estuary.
