Enderby - The St. Johns area of the parish is separated from the main village, which is where the ancient village of Aldeby stood. Mentioned in the Domesday Book, this village was deserted probably in the 12th century. Its church, St. John's was the mother church of Enderby.

Other places of historical note are Enderby Hall, Parish Church, Manor House and Packhorse Bridge.
