This well preserved 17th Century Medieval Manor House, once owned and fashionably 'modernised' around 1618 by the family of Everard Digby - one of the infamous Gunpowder Plotters.

Donington le Heath Manor House is situated on the southern outskirts of Coalville, between the villages of Donington le Heath and Hugglescote. It is sign posted from the A511 near M1 junction 22 and A42 junction 12 with the A511. The museum has a car and coach park.
