Things to do in Burnham, Buckinghamshire

Burnham is an ancient township that was referred to in the Domesday Book. North of the village lies Burnham Beeches, purchased in 1880 by the Corporation of the city of London, for use by the public 'forever'. Thomas Gray, Sheridan and Mendelssohn were all frequent visitors to the area.
