Walton-on-the-Naze in Essex is a delightful Victorian styled seaside town and popular holiday resort, which has remained largely untouched since the 1950s.

It has a timeless quality about it that makes it popular for families of all ages, looking for restful days on the expansive sandy beaches and the famous Walton pier. The pier itself is Britain's second longest (the longest being Southend).

The Town centre has a high street with shops ranging from Woolworths to the Co-op. It has recently been revamped retro style, in keeping with its Victorian heritage.

The seafront is wall lined; the most popular beaches being well patrolled by Baywatch style life guards and Walton's own HM Lifeguards Station. Dotted along the large sandy beaches are various kiosks selling ices and foods.

There are wonderful Backwaters where seal watching is possible and along the main esplanade a popular pub and neighbouring shop serving all tastes.

At the actual Naze is a wildlife sanctuary and newly opened Naze Tower, where you can enjoy views for miles. Well worth a visit, Walton-on-the-Naze is pure Charm.
