Things to do in Moreton, Merseyside
Moreton is a small yet busy town that has a round about as the centre which is called Moreton Cross. The main high street is called Hoylake Road which runs through the centre of the town. There are many cafe's, shops, restaurants and a few supermarkets located along the main high street.
Hoylake Road is then surrounded by residential areas with local schools and parks nearby. Moreton also has its own industrial site which is home to Typhoo tea.
Moreton is located close to the J2 of the M53 which runs down the centre of the Wirral towards Chester/North Wales and the opposite way to Liverpool.
Moreton has its own train station with three main destinations, West Kirby, New Brighton and Liverpool.
The closest town to Moreton is Birkenhead and the closest city is Liverpool. Moreton is also located close to the coast with a sandy beach that looks out to the Irish Sea.
