Things to do in Hoylake, Merseyside
Hoylake has one main high street running through the centre of the town. The high street contains shops, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and cafes. Hoylake is a popular destination in the evening, due to its small community of bars that are popular with all age groups. Hoylake has its own train station which links it to West Kirby, New Brighton and Liverpool.
Hoylake has a long promenade along the coast with stunning views out to the Irish Sea. Hoylake has its own small industrial estate behind the railway station which is home to several small units.
Hoylake is a beautiful place to visit during the summer and even holds an annual Lifeboat Show where much needed money is raised for the RNLI. RNLI have a brand new lifeboat station based on the promenade the lifeboat station is currently a museum. Hoylake has its own golf course which is called the Royal Liverpool and was made famous when a top level golf tournament was held there.
