The Dean Gallery is also called the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. The Gallery consists of two buildings: Modern One and Modern Two, which are surrounded by acres of parkland including many outdoor sculptures and spectacular views of the city of Edinburgh.
The gallery has an extensive collection of Dada and Surrealist art including works by Dali, Duchamp, Ernst, Magritte, Man Ray and Miro. It is also the home to modern and contemporary exhibitions as well as a large collection of works by Sir Eduardo Paolozzi.

On Belford Road, 15 minutes from the West end of Princes Street and 10 minutes from Haymarket Station. By bus: bus 13 from George Street to Belford Road or any of the following: 32, 40, 41, 52, 82 to Queensferry Road (get off at Queensferry Terrace) or 3,4, 30, 31, 33, 36, 43, 44, 69 to Shandwick Place (get off at Palmerston Place) and walk. By car: Free car Park. Gallery Bus: A special Gallery Bus runs regularly between the Scottish National Gallery and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.
