Ryhill is a village surrounded by beautiful countryside and has a public footpath link to the Pennine Trail. The village overlooks two reservoirs with a man-made lake just out of sight. This has a country trail around it. The town is a short drive from Wakefield, Barnsley and Pontefract. It's within an hour of Doncaster, Leeds and York and is only 2 miles from Nostell Priory, the ancestral home of the St. Oswald family. Description by Gillian Evans
