Set in the grounds of Beamish Hall in Chester-le-Street, Beamish Wild Birds of Prey Centre is a purpose-built conservation centre providing an educational and fun day out for all the family.

The centre boasts free flight aviaries, which are home to many different captive bred species, ranging from eagles, falcons, hawks and owls, including magnificent bald eagles and golden eagles, African white-backed vultures and snowy owls.

Our resident raptors soar through the sky every day to give you the chance to see them fly free and, for a lucky few even to interact with them.

Whether it be a face-to-face encounter with our feathery friends in our free flight demonstrations, talking the baby owls on an Owl Walk or letting the kids run wild in the adventure playground, Beamish Wild really is great fun for all the family.

If you're looking for an adrenaline rush then Beamish Wild High Ropes is an adventure course set 65ft up in the trees. Take on a range of obstacles such as climbing through tunnel nets, zipwiring between the trees, jumping off the 'leap of faith' and freefalling on the incredible 65ft power-fan.

Height, age and weight restrictions apply.
For further information please contact the centre on 01207 233 733 or visit the Beamish Wild website (link above)
