Somerset

Cothelstone is a small rural parish at the foot of the southern slopes of the Quantock Hills (the first AONB) in Somerset.

The manor house and church are at the centre of the parish with a scattering of farms and cottages around about. The surrounding countryside is traditionally farmed.

Much photographed, Cothelstone lies above the village of Bishop's Lydeard and to the east of West Bagborough. It lies about six miles west of the county town of Taunton off the Minehead road beyond Bishop's Lydeard.

The church has services every Sunday and there are places to stay nearby.
