We feel that we are one of the best Campsites in Somerset, especially when it comes to entertaining the children so that you can take time to relax. Many people who come to Mill Farm enjoy their camping or caravanning holiday so much that they come back year after year. Why not visit us here in Somerset.
Swimming, Boating and Riding are just a few of the attractions we have to offer. Mill Farm Caravan and Camping Park is in the heart of Somerset near to the old market town of Bridgwater.
On the campsite there is a constant reminder that there was a mill situated here as far back as 1066. The gentle stream which meanders slowly through the campsite leads to a waterfall where once a millwheel turned to grind the corn. There are also two millponds on the site and a ford close to the remains of the former mill house.
The campsite is spacious, a level site divided into small meadows. Each has its own picnic tables, benches, playground and toilet block. Nestling in an attractive sheltered valley. Mill Farm is close to the glorious Quantock Hills where herds of wild deer and ponies roam. With extensive views the Quantocks provide an excellent area for picnicking and walking.
The campsite is only 4 miles from the sea where the Somerset coast consists of a mixture of long sandy beaches, steep rocky cliffs and pebbly shorelines. There is plenty to explore as well with a renowned wild bird reserve and fossilised sea creatures hidden amongst the rocks.
