Ystrad Mynach is a busy little town in the heart of the Welsh valleys. Boasting many industries on its industrial estate, it also has a very special little town centre with pleasant shops and cafes. Lewis Girls school is situated in Ystrad Mynach and is a very high achieving school. Ystrad also has its own college which is near the grounds of Ystrad Mynach park, a peaceful little area for all the family where you can play bowls, tennis or football on the very spacious grass areas and fun park. Ystrad also has its own police station which covers most surrounding areas as well as Ystrad itself. Visit Ystrad and you may fall in love with this little Welsh town!
