Friendly, fun and a real ´hands on´ experience, Farmer Gow´s is a great place for a family day out. ´Meet the Animals´is held daily at 11.00am and 2.00pm.
There are always lambs or kids to bottle feed, eggs to collect and pigs or cattle to feed. Plus you can take a goat or a ferret for a walk and handle young chicks - wonderful.
There are activities both indoors and outside - so it's an ideal location whatever the weather. There are bales to climb, pedal tractors to drive, an adventure play area plus a host of other ´farmy´ facilities. There are also picnic tables in each activity area - so you can sit with a cuppa or simply enjoy the Farm fare in the Cafe.
Family Gow´s is 'Lambing Live' throughout March and April. There are adorable lambs to bottle feed and fluffy chicks to fuss over, Trailer Rides – with Easter Egg Hunts over the Easter weekend. Daily quizzes and competitions. Eggstraspecial fun!.

| Just off the A420 near Faringdon and within sight of the White Horse at Uffington. If you're coming from the east (Oxford, Faringdon, Abingdon etc), turn left just after the Faringdon roundabout (heading towards Swindon) signposted to Fernham and White Horse Hill. At the T-junction in Fernham turn right. Farmer Gow's is 3/4 mile out of the village on the right. 10 miles from Swindon by car. |
