Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is due to reopen on 11th July 2006 after a 3 year £27.9million refurbishment programme.
8,000 objects on display over 3 floors, from Rembrandt and Titian to a world-class collection of Impressionist paintings; a unique display of fearsome weapons and stunning suits of armour; Salvador Dali's iconic 'Christ of St John of the Cross'; natural history displays, including a handsome new giraffe; objects from Ancient Egypt; events and exhibitions.
