Located in the beautiful, quiet village of Portinscale on the shores of Derwentwater. Easy access to walks, lake, eating out and Keswick centre within easy walking distance for shops, theatre, cinema, climbing wall etc. The Keswick launch (small ferry) stops at Nichol End Marina, Portinscale and sails regularly around the lake and stops at several areas including Keswick.

Appletree is a four bedroom house with the most fabulous views of surrounding fells. Private parking, enclosed garden, gas central heating, linen and towels (included in rental). A fabulous base to discover this very spectacular area of the Lake District.

Short breaks are available from November to Easter and reductions are made for reduced occupancy.

This is a lovely bright house in a quiet village area. As you enter the hallway has Oak staircase and leads through to the large lounge/dining/kitchen area. The lounge has an open fire, two comfortable three seater sofas, TV, DVD, CD players, patio doors opening onto the private patio area with table and chairs.

The dining area has large table & chairs and leads directly to the kitchen. The contemporary styled kitchen is fully equipped with double oven, gas hob, dishwasher, fridge/freezer microwave etc. Off the kitchen is a small utility area with washer/dryer, coat hooks etc. Off the main hallway there is a ground floor bedroom with super-king size bed and downstairs shower room.

Upstairs are three further bedrooms, one double with en-suite shower room, a twin room and a single bedroom. The main bathroom has bath, separate shower, w.c. and wash basin. From every upstairs window are the most wonderful views towards the surrounding fells. To the front of the house there is off street parking and garden area.

Garden to the side and rear with patio table and six chairs. This is a lovely light house finished to a very high standard. A welcoming home from home.

From junction 40 M6:
Follow the A66 by-passing Keswick on the left. Take the next left signposted Portinscale, carry on into the village passing the Farmers Arms pub on the left. Take the next right into High Portinscale. Appletree is at the top of the hill.
