Luxury Bed and Breakfast in Georgian brick and flint house on edge of Goodwood Estate.

Seven comfortable rooms with modern en-suite shower rooms, walled car park and gardens.

The house was originally the village shop and bakery, and has original features such as the well in the car park, exposed beams and the delicatessen shelf in the sunny dining room.

Our breakfasts are legendary, using local food where possible with award-winning sausages and free range organic eggs.

For starters we offer fresh fruit salad, grapefruit, yoghurt, fruit juice (including local apple juice) and cereal.

To follow, as well as the traditional English fare, we offer toasted muffins topped with scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, and American pancakes with bacon and maple syrup.

Our jams and marmalade are home made and come with white or brown toast.

At the foot of the South Downs, we can recommend walks that start from the house and take you through forest and farmland.

Chichester, with an outstanding selection of history, art and culture, is just three miles away.

Arundel, Midhurst and Petworth are a short drive away.

A regular bus service runs from the house to Chichester.

For evening meals, The Anglesey Arms is a two minute stroll away and serves local organic food.
