The Museum

The story of the people and horses involved in racing from its Royal origins to Lester Piggott, Frankie Dettori and other modern day heroes.

Special for 2009 Exhibitions include Top Lot: The story of Tattersalls and Racing Welfare.

Included is the famous Practical Gallery: learn everything there is to know about the horse and jockey and experience the thrill of riding the 'Horse Simulator'.

Daily Equine Tours

Equine tours take place daily Tuesday to Saturday, led by ex-racing professionals they include horses training on the gallops, the horses' swimming pool, a trainers yard and the museum.

New Tours for 2009 Behind the scenes at Tattersalls.

Other tours, e.g. Introduction to racing, Private Stud, Newmarket Experience Tour. Booking essential. Please telephone for details.
