Ely Museum, in the Old Bishop's Gaol, is a bright and friendly local history museum. Displays include original prison cells, fossils that can be touched, Roman remains and an archive film of the Fens including punt guns and eel catching. There are special events and exhibitions throughout the year.
A children's guide to the galleries, toilets, a stairlift and gift shop make this an ideal destination for all the family.
