Whitstable Museum & Art Gallery |

|
Whitstable Museum has displays of Whitstable's seafaring traditions - the oyster industry, diving and fascinating aspects of the natural world. The Special Exhibitions are a popular feature.
Whitstable Museum Gallery has a notable collection of Whitstable ship paintings, views of the town and shore, and work by artists in the area. The gallery is fortunate to be part of a national network of exhibitions, widening access and awareness for local people. At the same time it is celebrating local talents, festivals and the town's link with Etaples.
The museum has a special display celebrating the work and life of Peter Cushing - who lived in Whitstable for many years.
Events related to the exhibitions are arranged regularly, and also include workshops with practising artists for schools and colleges.
Disabled access is possible to all parts.
