What to See
Agricultural Merchants Shop: Here the visitors can see a reproduction of an early 20th Century shop.Visitors Centre: The centre takes the visitor through the story of Newham Grange Farm from the 17th Century to the present day. You can trace the families who occupied the
farm and the major farming events which affected its development.Veterinary Surgery: A 19th Century Veterinary Surgery which provides the visitor with an opportunity to see some of the medicines and equipment from this period when horses were used to do much of the heavy work.
Farm Yard: Visitors can see various pieces of vintage farm machinery which have now replaced with the advance of technology.
Victorian Kitchen: Corn doll display and working beehive.
Agricultural Museum
Hatchery: watch the chicks being born and growing
up.Animal Pens and Byres: These pens allow visitors to see animals such as pigs, cattle, donkeys and goats at close quarters. The pig units provide a chance to see several breeds of pig, including the Gloucester Old Spot, Berkshire, Saddleback, Middle White and also new litters of piglets. In the Weaning Pens the baby pigs are weaned onto solid foods.
