Miles of mystery and history beneath your feet!
Grab a lantern and get ready for an amazing underground adventure.
At Chislehurst Caves your whole family can travel back in time as you explore the maze of passageways and old mines which have been hewn by hand over thousands of years.
Accompanied by an experienced guide on a 45 minute lamp-lit tour you will learn of the Druids, Saxons and Romans who used the caves, as well as the more recent history of this underground labyrinth.
During World War Two they became the largest air raid shelter outside of London. Included in the tours, which run on the hour, are visits to the Caves Church, the Druid Altar, the Haunted Pool and much more!
