Stairs Farm is a Certificated Camping and Caravanning Club 5 van site, situated on a level, elevated site with lovely views, a short walk from Hartfield village with its historical High Street buildings and St. Mary the Virgin Church, at the edge of Ashdown Forest.

Just off the High St is a sports field with children's play area, cricket pitch and tennis courts. There are three pubs within walking distance, the Anchor, the Haywaggon and the Gallipot - all serving local beers and bar/ restaurant food (menus available at site).

A short drive takes you to the Hatch Inn (Colemans Hatch) and the Dorset Arms (Withyham). The village shop in the High Street has a wide range of goods, and of course there is Pooh Corner for all Winnie the Pooh fans. Gas is on sale at Casablanca Nursery at Upper Hartfield.

Pooh Bridge, Sheffield Park, Bluebell Railway, Wakehurst Place, Hever Castle, Chartwell, Royal Tunbridge Wells are nearby, as are various golf courses.

The nearest petrol station, supermarket, take-aways, chemist and Post Office are at Forest Row, 3 miles distant and there is a local doctors surgery at the end of the village High Street, near the Edenbridge Road junction.

Crowborough (of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle fame) offers Waitrose, Lidl, Morrisons etc. Swimming pool (Goldsmiths Leisure Centre).
Tunbridge Wells has all the large stores - Marks and Spencer, Sainsbury's, etc.

The site has electric hook-ups, drinking water tap, a CDP, dry waste bin, toilet and combined toilet and shower (the latter suitable for wheelchair and disabled users).

Booking a pitch is essential and restricted to members of the Camping and Caravanning Club, although non-members can join on arrival at the site. Meets welcome.

Full payment must be made by debit card at the time of booking.
