Flag Cottage is a charming, newly refurbished stone cottage with a beautifully presented modern interior and furnishings, nestling in the picturesque tranquil village of West Burton in the Yorkshire Dales.

Upstairs the Main Bedroom has a majestic king-size brass bed with excellent quality bedding and a suite of solid rustic oak furniture with plenty of space for a cot.
The twin room has two full size luxury single beds and lighter oak furniture.
The bathroom has traditional wood panelling in a modern colour accentuating the new crisp white bathroom suite, which includes a powerful MIRA shower over the bath , a traditional heated towel rail and illuminated mirror with shaver.
The back door in the kitchen opens into the spacious side and back garden. Conveniently located immediately outside the back door is a covered area for the storage of wood and rubbish bins.
The garden has a feature patio area with wrought iron garden furniture, barbeque and panoramic views of Wensleydale , a lawn with fruit trees and private driveway ,with ample parking for two cars.

Flag Cottage is on the "Back Nook" in West Burton, Wensleydale 2 miles off the A684 between Hawes and Leyburn very close to Aysgarth. Post Code is DL8 4JU
From the North East on the A1(M) turn off at Scotch Corner on A6108 through Richmond From the South East on the A1(M) turn off on A684 at Leeming Bar through Bedale Both routes bring you to Leyburn and follow A684 for 7 miles before turning off left for West Burton. From the North West turn off the M6 to Sedbergh and follow A684 right through to Hawes and Aysgarth before turning right for West Burton. From the South West you can come up from Skipton on the scenic route through Kettlewell or take M6 and turn off at Sedbergh as above. See map. |
